Built with haunched mortise and tenon joinery that miter inside the legs, it offers lasting strength and stability. The top features a signature underbevel, adding a refined lightness to the form.

The drawers, constructed with hand-cut dovetails and no mechanical slides, glide effortlessly with precision. Their solid wood sides are just under 3/8” thick, keeping them lightweight yet durable. Drawer bottoms are crafted in-house using shop-sawn veneer that matches the sides and back—offering the strength and consistency of solid wood, with the stability of veneer. Sliding dovetails with custom offsets keep drawers stable, even when fully opened.

Finished with a hand-rubbed French polish, the surface offers a depth and warmth that’s unmatched, along with exceptional UV resistance and ease of repair. The finest figured sycamore and sapele were selected—sequentially matched on the drawer fronts and straight-grained on the legs—for a striking contrast. Custom hardware from Rocky Mountain completes the piece with a subtle, tailored touch.
